User Profile

Ignore my interests, I can't really be bothered to update them anymore. I likely won't update this for another two years, so it'll soon be out of date.

I don't use my livejournal often, I have problems speaking to people, both online and in RL. So this journal is likely to remain completely personal, and no one will read this other than me, a couple of years down the line when I remember the profile option.

If any one else is paying attention, feel free to talk to me. I'm really only scary to my friends, and even then they know me well enough to not care.

I like writing, reading works of fandom, and being fascinated by the silliest things. I'm theoretical bisexual, practically asexual, and have a very strong interest in Gender and Queer studies. Hence the overwhelming amount of slash connected to my journal. I like anime, but not anime fandom usually. I like fantasy, but not really the swords-and-sorcery type, and sci-fi as long as it's not self-indulgence for a wannabe rocket scientist. I like romance, but only when I can respect the people involved. I like things and people that surprise me.

Warning: I do use this as my journal. Therefore, if I am being emo in the early hours of the morning, I will write in here. It's just a space to get my thoughts down, don't think too hard about it, and don't begrudge me the chance to speak without having to remember to put it to private. It's not about you, or anyone - it's about me. And maybe that's self-indulgent, or self-obsessed, but this is MY journal, so I think that's allowed.
